Playdate Entertaining

Who says calling an open bag of Goldfish Crackers okay playdate entertaining? Here are two great ideas that take the boredom out of everyday playdate treats.

First, is using a clear glass bowl and filling it with something colorful such as jelly beans or M&M's. Then create cones using colorful heavy-weight paper and tape. Place the cones in the glass bowl and fill with pretzels. popcorn or both. The treats inside must be lightweight as to not tip over in the bowl.

The next one is a lollipop bouquet. Here I used Southern Living at HOME's Arrange-It-Easy Vase (which you can purchase through me!) The vase has a removable "frog" so stems are easy to arrange and will not fall over. In this case, the same was done for the lollipop's stick, which I bundled together in groups of three and tied with different colored ribbon.

Both of these are so easy to make and make the kids feel special, too!
